I reached out to Zak to inspect for mold at our apartment after dealing with health problems and noticing discoloration on a baseboard. Zak is thorough and knows the ins and outs of what to look for and he has multiple tools to help detect if there is a problem and determine what the problem is. He is the inspector that you can TRUST & his prices are very reasonable. WATSON Mold and Air Quality is Top Notch!! Zak did an excellent job at educating us and his report was very detailed and self explanatory. I now feel confident in knowing what to do to remedy the problem. My fiancé and myself had an offer accepted for buying our first home. When the home inspection report came in, it showed higher than preferable humidity in the crawl space. I had worked with Zak in the past, and knew who to call once the report came in. Zak inspected the home, produced a report documenting moisture levels, and the sources of the moisture. Zak went on to perform the necessary work in a timely manner to where we are on track to close in two weeks. I highly recommend giving Watson Mold and Air Quality a call if you have mold or moisture concerns.

Zak was amazing. He was extremely thorough. If I had one of the other companies come that only take like ten minutes I would have constantly wondered if something was missed. I have no doubt that he checked every inch of our house.

Zak was extremely knowledgeable and helpful from the getgo. I had a moisture and air quality issue in my crawl space and air ducts. When I told him about it, he came by the same day and did a thorough inspection. I had gotten 4 quotes because some of the other prices were outrageous. Zak gave me a much more thorough and scientific inspection, and then he gave me the best quote as well. His solutions got to the root of the problem and solved in ways to prevent recurrence. With other folks, I felt like they were using brute force. With Zak, I felt like he used science, precision, and genuine care for the quality of the air. He has great customer service, tenacity to get after the problem, an approach to solve and prevent future issues, and competitive pricing. What’s not to like? Would definitely recommend you call Zak first rather than searching all over Greenville for air quality and crawl space issues.
Having dealt with mold inspection companies in the past that charged too much only to be left with too little information to work with, our experience working with Zak was the exact opposite. Zak has a wealth of knowledge and takes an in-depth approach at not only finding mold and moisture issues, but he is also transparent about options and best practices for moving forward. The owner of Watson Mold and Air Quality personally inspected for mold and tested the quality of the air inside of our home. From the moment we met Zak, we were treated respectfully, and we were given his undivided attention. It was evident that Zak was a true professional and well-informed on everything involving mold, moisture, and air quality. We were given updates throughout the inspection, and Zak even let us check out the infrared images he captured, to show us what was going on behind our walls. He also tested the air inside of our HVAC ducts, our living room, our crawlspace, and the atmosphere outside of our home. Next, we were given a report that provided results from the air quality test Zak completed. We also were given recommendations to remediate our issues by ourselves! The report and recommendations we were given saved us over $8,000!!! I highly recommend this company and the services they provide. We can finally rest easy knowing that our home is in a healthy condition.

We have done a big renovation on our house and used lots of contractors and Zak is hands down the best person we’ve had out here. He is incredibly professional and explains his findings and what his plan of action is in a way that’s easy to understand. He’s passionate about helping others feel comfortable in their homes after finding mold and doesn’t use scare tactics to gain business. He’s as genuine as they come and was a pleasure to work with. Zak went above and beyond and has continued to check on our job even after his portion was complete. We needed some other people in here to complete our project and he was out here after they completed their portion just so he could see the finished product and make sure it all looked good. Highly recommend his services if you’re dealing with any mold but mainly for the peace of mind that he brings to the table.
We noticed high humidity in the downstairs of our house and what appeared to be mold growth on our AC registers. We called Zack and he came out immeditaly and tested the registers, HVAC unit and air quality. He was extremely knowledgable and explained the process of what would need to be done to fix the issue. I highly recommend using this company if you are looking for efficient quality work!
I can’t say enough great things about Watson Mold and Air. Zak was responsive, put me on the schedule quickly, and did a great job. Much cheaper than my other quotes. I’m OCD about my crawlspaces (I’m a realtor) and he delivered.
We hired Zac to come check our air quality due to a musty smell. Zac found we had a moisture problem as well as mold problem in our home. Zac gave us a quote for the repairs. I called around and no one could beat this guys prices. Our family had to go stay in a hotel till it could be remediated. Once Zac talked to me and found out we were staying in a hotel he rounded up his troops and called everyone in early to get the job done he even worked till almost midnight to make sure my family could get back into our home. Zac is a stand up guy and I would recommend him to anyone needing his services. He runs a honest and integrity built business. He gives you options and never tried to sell you in anything. When an inspector’s mold test came back concerning, I hired Watson Mold for an expert opinion. Zak gave me the peace of mind that I needed, to know the home we were buying was going to be safe for my daughter with a history of medical issues. He made sure he was available the next day and did a very thorough investigation. His attention to detail was impressive and reassuring, and he expertly answered all of my questions, happy to explain things until I felt comfortable. I’m impressed with how knowledgeable and professional he was. The peace of mind knowing we will be safe there is so worth it. The mold industry is dominated by “professionals” that have a dual interest in finding your problem (testing) and providing your solution (remediation). That’s not what you’ll find here, Zak purely cares about evaluating and testing your individual situation and providing information for you to make informed decisions. Although we are not within his service area, he used his network to find and vet a company near us that provides the same services.
